1st Run of Syrcus Tower this week and "Item Already Received"?

My partner tried to lot on an Oil on the first run of Syrcus Tower this week but it said "reward already received for the week." What's going on with this? (There has been no server transfer or anything either). Also, when she selects the Duty it doesn't say reward already received.

If he looks in the page of Syrcus Tower in the Duty Finder, does it say that he received the loot for the week there as well? If not, might have been a bug in the instance, but if it does say it in the description too and he hasn't gotten anything for sure tell him to contact a GM. I suppose that's his best bet.

It didn't say that before or after... I'll tell her to contact a GM although she tends not to bother

Someone was saying they had this issue in a previous thread, might wanna find it and ask if they ever got a fix.

You're definitely not the ony one affected by this, OP.

You're not the first one I've seen say this has happened. Some players have simply misunderstood that Unidentified Allagan Tomestones and Oil of Time do count as your weekly drop, but you're not the first person to report being locked out of loot from spontaneously for the week (I'm assuming the rollover has happened, but it may not have). Get the person affected to check with a GM.

Just out of curiousity, when did you guys run? The time the post was made was pretty close to reset, so maybe you guys entered before? Also, make sure your friend passed on everything, if everyone else does except for one person, that person will get the loot after the timer runs out.
