    I couldn't agree more.

    The stakes are set too high which is breeding mad hate among players.

    There have been multiple confirmations and eye witnesses on our server to teleport hackers who have snuck themselves into the most popular hunt LS' s and wait till a mob location has been announced and teleport to the vicinity of the mob.

    Also apparently, some of the Elite FC's have their players stationed in multiple locations in every zone with a radar scanners.

    You're telling me, for sitting around doing nothing. The game should tell me when people who are actively participating in the hunt, have slayed the mob? Then I simply time it, and deduce when I should participate to just rack A/S ranks?

    This idea has been the best one I had read here!

    What is with people raging because they didn't find the mark and other people killing it? The only mark in my opinion that need help from other are the S rank. The Bs and As can be easy kill by a full party so there is no reason to wait for others. Be gratefull that people wait 1min or so for others to arrive, they dont have to if they dont want. Also I have seen in some parties that no one know were they are and they dont search or anything, they just wait for the shout or for someone to tell them the location. For me that is not fair for the people actively looking for them and have taken the time to hunt them.

    I love the official forums, they tell you to use the search for thread about what you wanted to talk but when you use it they judge for necro a thread.

    Why not some sort of Geocatching?

    A friendly Monster - you can not kill...
    For the Hunt you just need to find it and hit it once - random spaning...
    Loot is then generated from total players who found it and spread between them with sending mogry message...
    That means you can do it when you like and while you do other stuff - in add the "win" is not static and you cant grind it to death...
    You will get the loot once a day and the more different monster you find the more chances you have to get loot - each monster have its own roll...
    The more players find it the better, community is helping each other! Not toxic because you dont know the outcome before you get the loot at end of day...

    Why does it have to be.. so everyone can find it? Its a HUNT. EVERYONE isn't meant to find it. You gotta compete, its a challenge.

    fyi, your suggestion doesn't sound fun either. It's not SE fault people have to sling insults for being slow, or unlucky.

    Why is it that everything you say sounds like you're entirely against the notion of the community actually uniting? So far, I understand you don't like our ideas. You made that ABUNDANTLY clear. Stop pissing on everything else. If you have no actual suggestions, just move on. Please. What is wrong with people deducing monster locations? Would you rather have a monopoly? So far, you haven't said one helpful thing. Not one.

    Unity is fine, but you initially proposed you PUNISH people because ALL could not benefit from a mark. The feature wasn't implemented with the idea that for every single monster, you MUST ALWAYS come together. That isn't hunting, its meant to be a competition. You're competing for the kill. I did offer a suggestion, in my first post. I've been against the implementation method they decided on from day 1. I've posted it, scroll through my history. Your suggestion just sound like you wish to kill a basic form of competition, in order to foster this weird definition you have of 'community unity'. I do not agree.

    What about the unity that was in the pt that found it? What about the unity of the FCs who have built methods to competitively hunt these targets? (not the radar crap that apparently is going on).

    Some suggestions for the suggestion thread

    A. When you get a special named hunt, you get instructions/a riddle to find it, from then on the monster is instanced(leve monster like) spawned for you somewhere in the world. You can bring any people you want along, they will get partial credit if they've already completed their hunt. (I imagine for every X rank hunt killed you get half less seals, but say their presence adds the chance to drop materials and they earn more gil). This is sort of what I wanted back in 1.0 turning into 2.0, love monster hunting- do not like monster camping/the who can hit their fastest spell faster game. For the larger hunts can add a lot more to the riddle quest like gathering items and completing certain actions, while the second highest tier is more of a find that location chocograph hunt.

    Problems, non competitive and does not have a free community opportunity like a fate (will not meet random people, probably will need to make a party). Pros, A more entertaining form of a daily/weekly, non-competitive, more challenging, true hunts for everyone, no mad people ever.

    B. Play shatter/ battle transition sfx when fighting nm the first time. Each group goes into a localized instance (imagine quests where you can only see your monsters or objects). First party to down the NM starts a counter, after the counter is up the monster will officially perish from the world till respawn. Create a localized party maker, can make it cute by having a sort of Calamity prayer action lol (will toss people into a party and will auto-start the fight, cannot join the party maker without being in the area in "party find mode" / prayer). In party finder mode you can choose to join a party at 75% or above, or wait for a fresh party. There will be a set player limit per instance so there is NO WAY you can zerg him, and you will be sure to see him and all the players. Will probably need be a point system ensuring you don't join a party and not take at least minimum effort (wont gauge "how well" just if you are participating).

    Problems, requires a lot more code to be implemented or at least reshuffled, probably more server costly, "hunting" part is very easy if the time limit from first kill is too long- if its too short people will still be mad (1hr, plenty of time to get a party if you are logged on, 5 mins.. probably some people wanting you to wait). Pros, non-competitive, FATE "like" system, having a cap on players ensures a controllable difficulty, less zerg like.
