I'm surprised there hasn't been anything from 9 yet that I'm aware of. 9 also had tons of references from all the previous games, I'm pretty sure they even told the story of ff2 during the part where you get Ramuh as a summon.

We haven't seen the full Void Ark's story, how is it a disappointment? Have you seen the last cutscene? I'm hyped about it because
we'll get to know more about 1.0 voidsents and what Caitsith had to do with it. Also we'll probably get to enter the Void and find new stuff, like the Magi castle. This is just like the Labyrinth; they didn't give you the Crystal Tower directly.

For FFV, I would like to see Ex-Death and the Rift, it was awesome![]()
But if FFXIV get a new content based on another FF, i would love to see Memoria from FFIX as a dunjon omg this place is the greatest in the FF universe (with Ultimecia's castle, of course)

We don't get Ramuh as a summon, do not hurt summoners![]()

The architecture of the Void Ark is very reminiscent of FF9's Pandemonium, I think

Can I just...Point out how much of a necrothread this is? The last post was almost a year ago.
if they use FF V stuff people will be confused again because they will use the japanese names and not the mistranslated snes names.
There was never actually an SNES version. There's a fan-translated Super Famicom version, but fan translations are just that.
In any case, if the visual designs are recognizable, I don't think names will be an issue.
