What's your worst Duty Finder experience?

Please save "tanks/healers leaving before duty starts".

I've been leveling my WHM through the doody finder lately, because Double SCH in FC parties made me sad. Recently it's been bad party after bad party. Today in particular in Qarn I had a PT with a WAR THM and a LNC. Yeah. Everyone is whining because the tank is dying to bees. They whine because they want me to Esuna their doom, and they whined because they kept letting the faces eat me in the last boss and we wiped 3x.

Soon as I hit 38 I q'd for cutters. It took us literally 5 minutes to clear the room as we had a pld a THM and a terrible mnk. Needless to say I just left. What about you guys?

Tl;dr duty finder is absolutely horrible and filled with idiots.

Joining CT in progress when two or so people was holding up the entire raid..because someone was wearing crafting gear. The entire argument lasted until everyone just left. That or the time when doing Garuda HM and the tank had the nerve to say "Any DPS?" in an insulting manner when he was tanking garuda in a twister.

When I first started, I had some terrible Qarn and Garuda normal groups but the worst one was probably when someone told my partner, in all caps, to delete herself. Some good came out of it though because we still jokingly tell each other to "go delete yourself". It's crazy how serious people can be about progression in a game.

I was running Copperbell normal lvling my conjuerer. The run was going ok until we got just to the second boss the dps stated arguing with eachother over something stupid. They kept calling eachother names over and over. We made it to the second boss and the tank pulled the slime as we waited for the bomb the dps continued to yell at eachother. We'll doing this caused them to not notice the bomb and of coarse they died from the blast. The tank got really pissed and said f it letting himself for then leaving.i managed to kite the boss until it split completely then killed the small blobs(they don't hit hard and die fast) but then had to wait 30 min for more people cause the dps had left as we'll. people need to learn to chill sometimes I swear.

On the light hearted side of things: A pld that used nothing but rage of halone, forcing a lancer to main tank.

On the heavier: Seeing people who have qued together and one CLEARLY verbally abuses the other on a regular basis.

We had a gladiator tank on Sashtasha last night. Healer kept getting agro as soon as he healed. Tank was running in to agro, then running straight back to the healer and auto attacking one mob, ignoring everything else, not using flash and not using any abilities.

In the end myself (dragoon) and the Archer split tanking with me taking a couple and the Archer burning another down as quickly as possible. We were a pretty decent team once we'd decided to ignore what the "tank" was doing.

    Ramuh.

After my experience with him, I never want to do it again.

The first time, I got Vote Kicked because we wiped on Judgement Bolt, as all the adds weren't down. I was blamed because my pet wasn't attacking an add - mind you, this was my first time in the instance, and I have NEVER had to direct my Egi (besides moving in Labyrinth of the Ancients). Needless to say, the person that initiated that Vote Kick got reported.

The second time, the group abandoned the Duty after a second wipe, because people didn't understand the mechanic of collecting orbs when two people are linked by chain lightning, and the single add didn't die quickly enough. People were too budy focussing on the main Ramuh. Surprise, surprise, the person that I reported was in that Duty so it made it really uncomfortable for me to be in there, because the person started verbally abusing me when I called them out on the Vote Kick.

The third time, luckily, I had a great party that communicated, chatted and had fun - and we finished the Duty.

I hate when people take a game way too seriously. It's just a game. It's not real life, and never will replace someone's life. So getting angry or impatient at someone because they are new to a Duty is not very attractive.

Countless awful Moogle EX runs. I never really did the fight because I wasn't that desperate for the gear from there, and spent more time farming Levi EX for weapon/mirror. So imagine my joy when 2.3 rolls around and we need it for Ramuh EX. Since I'm pretty much playing solo at the moment I've had to resort to duty finder. I don't expect it to be full of people with experience, but the amount of times we've gotten to final phase, for us to wipe, is heartbreaking.

The worst run had to be when we had an inexperienced SMN kill the BLM moogle way too early. It could be argued it wasn't really their fault as they're still knew, but we did explain, countless times, be careful with the dots and what your pet is doing. None of it went in. BLM moogle dead. Rinse. Repeat. Wipes. I eventually left... it's one thing being inexperienced, but completely ignoring everyone and trying not to fix what you're doing just sucks...

Not exactly the worst but certainly the most interesting experience was in Sastasha with completely new player as tank who had no idea that there are roles for party members. So we just killed stuff and healer died about 10 times at first mobs before ragequit. We finished that dungeon without a healer with summoner healing, all dying constantly. It was actually rather fast with all the deaths and you could see that tank seriously tried his best, just had no experince of MMOs at all. I wish I could meet more people in this game as that summoner who only spoke once during entire dungeon - "I will heal" after healer quit.
