my carbuncle. I wish there was a way to have them so that when we get tired of looking at the egis we can use the carbuncle. Something we could toggle on and off. I know it's just a little thing and that there are tons of other more important issues but still.......I miss 'em.

That's not always a possibility. If you're equipped with a SCH only book and try to remove your job stone it gives you an error message. You need to have an ACN book equipped in order to do this (or have a gearset to switch to). If you don't happen to have an ACN book then you're requiring the individual to make a purchase which they may or may not be able to afford or have room for.

So sometimes what seems to be the simplest solution cannot always be accomplished.

As for the topic, I would fully support a questable carby minion similar to the WHM unicorn mount. It would be awesome to force us into a synced level 50 battle where we have to be on ACN (not SMN or SCH). When we beat the fight we gain the minion and it will change its color depending on the role you are in. Emerald for DPS roles, Topaz for tank roles and Diamond for healer roles!
