    Hunts are hurting the community.

Elite marks as they stand now are hurting the game. Yes I understand that there are many threads like, but I am here to share what I observed.

1.Elite marks spawn in random locations without warning and their HP depletes within seconds.

2.Coordinates are very crucial and telling others will guarantee either the following situations.
    a. A swarm of players would ask of you to not kill the target.
    b. A mistake in coordinates can result in blacklisting/reporting/threatening the loss of your account for such a simple mistake. (I learned this myself and now I contacted a GM to help with my situation).
c.Hate toward any players who aggro and/or eliminate the target after constant "wait!"

    3. Elite Marks are not yet designed for a large scale of players.

Share your tales of the frustration that you experience with these elite mark and suggest solutions to these problems.

And hope something can be done about this frustration that grew from this.

I thinks hunts were poorly implemented. Elite marks are way too easy to down. My solution is I will no longer actively pursue them. I have 4 Naul kills, no credit. One seal each time.

Suggested previously: Elite Hunts need to be spawned like the Treasure Maps system. Take an item given to you by The Hunts NPC, we'll call it a "warrant notice" and you only may receive one once per week for the Elite Notorious Monsters. Let it be a completely random warrant for a hunt NM whether this week you get a B rank, S rank, or A rank. Go to the location on the map where the warrant tells you the NM was last seen, and when you use the warrant on the location only people in your party can engage it. And nobody can cheat since it is YOUR hunt warrant. Much like treasure maps. Depending on the rank of the hunt NM you will need more people in your party. If it requires a lot more people then by golly just allow us to make alliances outside of dungeons so we can do this kind of thing.
Make Daily Hunts ONLY Fate monsters or Fate NMs. This makes it fair so that everyone has a chance to get credit and/or the kills they need. This way the Fates are still used and not forgotten.

It seams that most people are in agreement that 'something' is wrong, weather it be with the hunt system itself, or with the way the player base is using it. Unfortunately it doesn't matter which is right because it is the devs responsibility to come up with a solution. And I'm sorry but the idea of "wait for a few weeks and see what happens" is not a solution, it's just ignoring the problem in hopes that it fixes itself.

when a Hunt monster is found, a Fate bubble (maybe a red one?) should pop up on the map, as well as a countdown timer of 1 or 2 minutes. And no one can attack the Hunt monster till the countdown is up.

That should give people enough time to get over there and help.

Heck, you can even have monster HP be synchronized to the amount of people inside the Fate bubble then >.>.

the problem stems from lots of players tired and burned out from daily dungeons. its a great alternative. open world. (although i agree its not as satisfying as we had hoped and feels unbalanced, based on player base)
Its new content and the hardcore players who are done running 30 runs of brayflox HM, a day, will run it til they get burned out from that too. Lots of us are hoping that it will die down to more enjoyable specs in a few weeks, if they keep hunts as they are.

(personally, I like the idea of treasure map style elite hunts but we have to wait and see how things develop)

It's making genuinely interested players who want to enjoy this feature a living hell. How in the hell are we expected to enjoy this and farm the proper way when everyone and their grandmother is in full parties of 8 rampaging through Eorzea.

And the allied seals being dispensed by these creatures is falling on depressing at this rate it's impossible to farm in a calm fashion. I've been doing hunts since day 1 since it's a feature u was looking forward to since day 1. I've only made 89 allied seals. 89. Meanwhile you tell me people are burning these so badly they have already purchased sands and oils of time to get better gear they otherwise couldn't get by participating in the appropriate content.

It's broken the community, it's broken the farming system, and it's making this game feel like being in a pig pen hoping you get a scrap of slop to eat.

And on top of that the worse offense is how the i90 myth gear is now purchasable at 40 seals for body and pants and 30 for boots gloves and hat, yet the new i70 gear is 1000 allied seals and up -_- gear at dark light level costing more than i90 gear. Like a kick in the nuts

Trouble with that is, it's not a HUNT if there's a blinking marker pointing you straight to it. I'm actually glad there's no blinking marker and wait time because MMOs aren't supposed to hold your hand and guide you to everything with zero effort, they're supposed to reward exploration and the Hunts do to an extent. I found 4 rank B mobs in an hour killing the enemies from my relic book the other day, and I found them simply because I was exploring the world.

That said, the difficulty of killing these mobs and total lack of mechanics makes for a tedious zergfest, but the biggest problem has been SE's communication. B ranks were supposed to be soloable, not something you wait on 50 people to gather before killing (that's why people are getting no credit). As of today's update however, they'll be light party level, which is what A ranks were supposed to be initially - again, not designed for 50 people to zerg down in seconds. They'll now be full party so that should help.
