Can we get some answers on whether these things are allowed or not? SE has been side-stepping this for quite some time now.

Their stance on automation and bug-abuse +/- hacking is clear, that it is bannable.

How about stuff that only deals with intel? Knowing your enemy or friends' performance is already more than half the battle won, especially in FF14.

With parsers, it is kind of a weird situation. Its real life equivalent is racist talk - If among friends, do it as much as you want; but doing it among strangers, results may vary. But well, at least parsers does not affect other peoples' gameplay. If they don't like how you do things, just leave and never associate ever again. So is it legal? Uhh...

Now, the hunts. Radars can affect others and people just cannot 'dodge' you. Those who are competitive and after the best gear will have no choice but to play ball (download a radar even though they never did it before). Eventually, people will have to fall into a few categories:
1. Those who use radars (existing and new users - growing pool)
1a. Those who tag along those who use radars (not using radar but leech upon LS information)
2. Those who pretend the hunt doesn't exist and continue with their frontlines/ crafting/ etc. (will however kill hunt marks if they so happen stumble upon them, not exactly hunting)
3. Those who want to play fair with the hunt, but end up losing 100% of the time and lose interest in the game

So, can we get a real answer soon? Note that stalling means an implied green light. Tick-tock.

As for me, I'm group 1a. My server? Going down the drain real fast. If using 3rd party software is expected to play this game, you (SE) should really consider bundling them with your installer.
