It's about entitlement. People expect to have a right to every mark that anyone comes across. I reiterate my post from the other thread...

Community is outraged that he did not announce his find so that everyone could turn up and swing their pick for their 'fair share'! More to follow as another man finds a thousand dollar meteorite and sells it on eBay..."
