    Another idea on hunts

    I know there are a million threads about this but meh I'll throw my idea out there and yes I'm aware Italy have already been said in one of the dozen other hunt threads but gunna say it anyone. I think elite marks should be a 1 a week for each person thing. Basically each week you get 1 elite mark wether it's a B,A or S rank it dosnt matter. Of once you hunt that mark and receive your reward that's it. You can still kill other marks to help friends and such but cannot receive rewards for this. I think this would greatly reduce zerging and allow everyone a shot during the week at elite mark kill. What do you guys think?

    Not really a solution, because what if say as example the S rank croakadile spawned, if only a couple would get reward no one would bother helping! and since it takes a lot of people to take it down! them few would never be able to complete their weekly

    Yyyyyeah... If SE did that people would immediately see it as a subscription extender and the back lash would be monstrous.

    You're basically saying that everybody gets either 67, 82, or 112 Allied seals a week. If they do each of their five hunts every day of the week.

    Given that Alexandrite is around 200, it would take people between 2-3 weeks just to buy one (which would be mostly pointless given that you can get like 10 a day just by doing dungeons this patch). On top of that, you would have to wait MONTHS and MONTHS in order to get any of the gear from your GC... like literally you would be able to get like two pieces MAX by the time 2.4 came out...

    The way the system works now is fine, albeit, it is a little upsetting the way that the players are handling it.

    I repeat, the hunt system is fine, the flaw is with the players :/

    If you put rewards that everyone wants behind content that is at the lowest level of difficulty by any appraisal you cannot seriously expect that everyone is going to "play nice". I assert the following -

    1) Hunts have rewards that everyone wants (Sands, Oils)
    2) These rewards are too difficult or impossible to obtain elsewhere for most players (Lockout in Coil for Sand/Oil, One Oil in CT, unobtainable elsewhere besides Hunt)
    3) Cheating and/or "Cheesing" is the obvious result when you allow this content to be done infinitely and in such a manner that it allows any difficulty to be 100% mitigated by more players accessing the content than was intended

    If SE didn't see things like Hunt LSes, Server Wide demolition of the B/A/S Ranks and Radar Apps coming then they are hopelessly naive - the entire system promotes that type of behavior because EVERYONE wants in on what are basically free rewards so long as you are actually capable of reaching the marks before they are burned down by 200+ people.

    If I had to propose one fix, the only real problem I have with the system... Make the weekly mark killable only by people who have the bill, or some variation on that theme. Zerg the others, fine... But let people make their weeklies without having to pull their hair out.

    Hunts have brought people together and I would hate to lose this. I hope it does not change too much.

    Another idea is to adjust the rewards and have a fatigue system on Allied Seals. This system was at the launch of 1.0 to prevent excessive leveling, and was a penalty to gained experience and skill points.
