You can prove someone is an RMT. Much harder to prove someone is using a radar, as long as they don't bring it up in chatlogs.

The problem with this is also that this will get innocents banned as well. Someone will definitely send a shout or ls message, causing legit people to show up as well. And even then, there is a filter for this sort of thing. Most of the spawn locations are known anyway, so any NM on a weird location is an obvious bait to anyone who spams hunts.

They have access to chatlogs, just check to see if that person made the announcement, and if it was before or after they go to the fake mark, won't catch them all, but getting rid of some is better than the way it is now.

I also doubt they use in game methods and trickery to track people down. They have their own programs and methods on investigating these things.
