    PS3.. controller quits working after log-in screen

    just started happening yesterday. controller works fine for everything else. Games and apps. It works up until the actual game starts after logging in. I would love to know how to fix the problem.

    I've experienced that problem, too. I'm not sure if it's just some kind of syncing lag, but I found that if I turn off the control and wait a minute, turning it back on usually fixes it. Not the kind of solution you want, I'm sure, but you're not alone in this. Only happens with FFXIV, for me.

    still can't get it to work maybe it is just the game itself not working once it loads.

    Is the controller set as controller 1? Do you have any alernnative (USB) controller conneted to your PS3 like Guitar hero?
