stuck on character select

this is really getting frustrating... for 2 days now i have not been able to play.. i log in fine. i get to character selection fine. but when i click my name to get into the world and the "log into ___ ____?" question appears i click yes like always and the wording dissapears and i just sit there looking at my character on the character select screen floating on that mystic blue background... it just sits there.. i can still rotate the camera and twirl around my character but nothing happens... then eventually it crashes and says "an unexpected error has occurred" and then im back on the desktop... at first i thought it was just like a log in error but its been 2 days and nothing has changed. this is REALLY frustrating...

this tech support forum is useless. i have tried to use it 3 different times and not a single person ever replys.

shocker. still no comments.. to add to this story. i have opened all ports, checked for any ciruses, updated all drivers, and even reinstalled the game... and still work get into the world load screen

I am having this same issue, but the difference between us is that I got a FC member to log into my account and move my toon. I was located at the Mist where my FC house is and I kept crashing no matter what I did. My friend logged into the game and moved me to Gridinia and I had not trouble until I teleported back to the mist in which I was instantly kicked from the game due to a "FFXIV has stopped working" windows error. I also got kicked for the same reason when queing for a hard roulette and got Halatali Hard. This error is not on my end and I hope that this can be resolved before my coil group starts tonight.

Please help me and Hobz.

P.S. This started after Monday nights maintenance.
