    New Auto-Attack Function Issue (Animations)

    I will say I mostly love the new system, but I have a pet peeve, it baffles me that we only have 1 animation for auto-attack on some classes, like PUG and CON for example, we used to have more, because we had to press the attacks ourselves and could diversify, but now, it feels really stale to me, PUG fighting felt dynamic before, now it feels highly repetitive.

    We had 3/4 Auto-Attack animations on FFXI, I can't understand why we are going backward.

    It's a real sin and i hate myself for saying it, but, it feels like AION, animation wise, 1-2 animations, over and over again, fight looses it's dynamic action.

    I hope people agree with me and also post to say their opinion on this, I wouldn't want to have to play XIV, which i believe to be a great game for 7 years like I did FFXI, with such limited animations.

    I have to agree with this, XIV is an amazing game, especially after my recent foray into AION again, but I remember a few games way back, where, with, say, a sword, you had upward cuts, downward cuts, side slashes, stabs, all from a basic attack. Spears had thrusts, slashes, and hits with the butt end of it.

    More animations and such would make the depth of the game more immersive, and get rid of some of the monotony of combat.

    I have a feeling some people will say that this is a silly request, and we don't need it, but it would make the game go forward. All of the new skill animations are definitely a step in the right direction, now they need to add to that with more, flashier, auto attack animations.

    If it is indeed going to be done in 1.19, I am currently amazed at the effort of the community and square enix team and dedication that everyone is putting it. I really hope XIV can be all that XI was for me, I met tons of friends, got good memories and had tons of fun. Which is what a game should be.

    This is on prodecer letters. Animation variations for autoattk for 1.19 or 1.20.

    Btw the pug have not only one animation. Have 4 LOL. One. Hard hit rigth then left lol. Two same thin but left then right. Three. Half hit left right. And os course. Right left. Jeje. I want motre. As kick. Jumping pounches. Double kicks OMG fok yeah!!

    R3 Can i have it?
