Most people I've found that want to do a raid are Rank 50 players who are just in it for the loot. I was hoping to use the raids for getting some SP, but sadly it's hard to find people in my level range.

There's only two dungeons in the game, and the level bracket that they're effective for is very small, especially Toto-Rak. Players with high level characters can just blast through Toto-Rak, removing all of the challenge and excitement. Surely something's wrong here.

I propose implementing a system whereby, upon entry to the dungeon, your class level would be reduced to 25/30/whatever, you would only have access to the job skills from that level. Gear wouldn't need much adjustment as it can be worn at any level anyway, but it would have the same stats as if the gear was actually worn at 25/30/whatever.

Skill points earned could then be applied to the class you are currently doing at the level you actually are. This would all be very similar to FFXI's level sync system, apart from that it is only active in the dungeons.

This would mean that dungeons could be seen as places for friends of different levels to come together and party, it would make up in part for the lack of party content since the demotion of Guildleves to solo content.

Please tell me what you think of my idea. Does the current set up leave you wanting, or do you like things the way they are? Thanks for reading.
