A/B Rank Hunts - Please go as Tank Job - Spread the word

You can get full credit on these hunts as tank with just voke and flash-spam , I've done all hunts as PLD (with Shield Oath up) so far and get full credit without even really damaging the mob. Even on S-ranks (with a ton of people there) I've gotten full credit doing this.

If people go on tank jobs, we can reduce a lot of the grief/drama happening regarding killing A/B rank mobs "too fast" for ppl to get there and get credit. On tank job, you can "hold" these mobs for people without killing them too fast and not be "paranoid" about not getting credit. If more people do hunts as tank, I think we can make the hunts more efficient and pleasant for everyone.

Great idea, but I really wish they could just make the system work instead of us needing to find such reacharound methods. Thank you though, OP.

I know very few people who don't have all or at least close to all classes at 50. Just because somebody has a class at 50 doesn't mean that's their desired class to queue dungeons and other content.

On topic: This is a great idea, but I don't see too many people doing it.

If you have a whm in your party, make sure to stack up on them and let them spam Cure 3. It's a guaranteed gold no matter what if they get those cures off.

I came back to the game yesterday when I heard they were going to introduce hunts. Unfortunately, they didn't implement these quite how I imagined it. They made them another form of FATE without being a FATE, when I was expecting they were going to be a bit like Leves that you'd have to stop in at the job board to check on. That way when enough people have picked up the leve and entered the zone the monster would spawn and people could organize and go after it, with the randomness being when the leve is actually available to be picked up.

Example: A player goes to the Job board and the server randomly rolls a bunch of hunting papers to present to the player. That player might see a leve for a Gigas, along with a bunch of common hunting leves like for Reavers or something. Another player goes to the same board and gets random rolled a S class dragon leve instead of the gigas, etc. When enough players have the right kind of paper in their inventory and enter a zone, the monster will spawn and those players will have some kind of buff that lets them deal with it more effectively (supposedly they put some kind of useful observation information on the hunting bill involving how to attack it). Other people can participate, but they do less damage and wont be able to help as much as those with the bill.

This would at least somewhat help with the zerging issue and prevent these things from turning into a schedule management world boss affair.

With the number of ppl that swarm A/B ranks , you don't need a high geared tank job at all. In fact, if u don't have tank leveled and need to go as dps, I suggest going with spiritbond gear on and switch to your real gear only if you go to a S-rank hunt.

Provoke at 22 would take a while, but Flash is at least only level 8 and cross-class equippable by all--oh, classes only except for PLD and WAR. Well, if you're going to spend hours upon hours searching for a Hunt mob and it doesn't matter that you show up as a class (and/or naked), you may as well spend a bit of time to get something that'll still give you credit and also slightly more time to get credit in.
