    Lets have proper feedback on Frontlines and PVP in general

    after playing extensively on Frontlines, I feel the system in place is really good. However, some tweaks here and there will make it awesome. So I would like to see what do you think as a player about Frontlines tweaks that will make it even more successful. for me I have the following:


    Frontlines :

    1- Losing GC points if you get KOd in Battle: this will bring in even more tactics in frontlines, for example sending teams to attack with the objective of killing players to reduce their numbers , while at same time sending another team to capture outposts.

    2- more points in KOing players. right now it has no meaning to kill people at all. its not even close to anything. if we get more points per kill , even just slightly, it will make frontlines more tactical.



    Wolves Den:

    each match should consist of 3-5 rounds. increase amount of pvp exp more then frontlines so that people have objective on why they would do it. waiting 30min for 1min match is completely off putting. 5 rounds with more EXP will justify it.

    The frontline is fun, i thought that some random objectives poping on the map or some random "secretsobjectives" like "take this camp" or "old X camps" giving some point boost would give the whole thing more fun.

    They need to allow you to replenish ranks before the match begins. Being down 4 members for even 1 minute at the start can ruin you because then it becomes unorganized.

    this one specifically will be fixed next week based on their notice. auto replenish ranks immediately once get in.

    I kind of hope they add specific on-screen objectives during the duration of the fight that, if achieved, would give a bonus in points.

    Having not experienced pvp yet in FF14 here are a few of my thoughts after a few rounds...

    * Ultimately, I had fun. For what it was, I felt like each round lasted just the right amount of time (not too fast, not too long +++).
    * Teamwork and cooperation lead to success. Communication amongst your duty-peers is important to winning (good +++).
    * I'm not sure if this was intended, but in one case, one alliance group had no healers and mine had 3. I volunteered to "group" with the healerless group, but as a scholar, my healing potential is shorted because my pet obviously isn't going to heal members of the other "party" (is there a way to switch alliance groups around???).

    Things I would like to see....
    * Some form of persistence. We have character pvp levels and wolf marks. But some sort of persistence that has larger, over-reaching impacts across our communities. I don't know what that would be since I imagine duty is cross-server.
    * Some randomness in the map. Something to keep each match fresh and interesting.
    * Continued investment in pvp features/functionality in general. I actually had fun and the game mechanics lend to pvp well. Some deeper pvp mechanics would be awesome. I would hate for it to just be some sort of "side" thing.

    Currently my biggest peeve has simply been all the false starts. I noticed this with CT as well, and I wouldn't know how SE could solve the problem. Obviously, people who are signed up for a duty they really don't want to participate in.... how do you fix that problem? Right now, that part of the user-experience is a bit ugly as you "commence" multiple times over the course of 5-10 minutes before everyone finally agrees to show up.

    PvP in general:

    - let us save a skill set for different jobs so we don't have to re-adjust PvP points whenever we choose to go on another job.

    Wolves' Den (WD):

    - I totally agree with more matches. Instead of 1, let us fight 3 times. Matches aren't that long in WD anyways.
    - More PvP gear sets (but this is something for gear design in general)

    Frontlines (FL):

    - Make it so that /psort works here too (the command to automatically adjust the party lineup)
    - Morale now is a wasted stat. Can we expect it to have some influence or maybe change to another useful stat for FL? I'm a bit surprised that we get currency to get PvP gear, yet this gear has no advantage when doing PvP which FL is.

    I agree with you except on Morale stat. if its something temporary SE is doing to get more people interested in Frontlines, I am all for waiting until future patch where they bring morale back. If the intention is to keep PvP gear usable only in Wolves Den, then I really think they should just change it to normal gear, with more focus on determination and damage stats.
