Radar for hunts, is this fair? Take a look.

It wouldn't be hard to find out who is using it. If you suspect someone, follow them around in an area, or party with them to keep track of their position. GMs could also make themselves invisible on the Hunt pop location when it spawns, and watch the trajectory of people running toward the location, it would be incredibly easy to catch someone running straight toward the monster when in reality they should be surprised for finding it. Also if the person shouts before hand etc.

This makes me sad, it's very unfair and highlights how hunts are the worst implemented new feature in patch 2.3. People using this third party app can then easily get all the gear upgrades they want, while people playing fair will be lost and get nothing. I am surprised the hunts work this way... I figured it would be more like maps, where a player causes a hunt target to spawn, and only that player's party can attack it, so every party spawns get their own targets rather than the whole world having to share one where only the fastest get to participate. I am not fast at finding the targets and thus I have never seen one. Before the patch was released, it was my most anticipated feature, but it's turned out to be something I now ignore entirely.

Oh, and to the creator of this thread; If you didn't report those two Linkshell mates, then what kind of person are you in the first place? They blatantly admit to it and talk you down for not using it.

I'm all for removing the oils an sands from the hunts. I mainly want to do them for the cosmetics to be really honest (ok and minions..). Granted I've been too busy to bother so I have 7 seals from stumbling upon or having something spawn on my head when I was doing other things.. I'm in a LS that calls out A ranks but that seems to have died down a bit. Probably a few more days or a week the rush will die down more and it won't be as bad.

What they need to do is make it so people are encouraged to wait and shout for other players the only way to do that is to give myth based on number of people.. Lets say there is 1 B and 20 people hit it... For each person who hit it the reward for myth and sol goes up from .50 starting from 1. A rank would be 1 tomb = player S rank 2 tomb = player.
