I've always defended that making them popped (either through leves or through an item) was by far the best option.
But people kept whining that they wanted NMs roaming around and SE caved in to their demands.
Be happy that SE didn't cave in completely otherwise we'd also have claim wars.
we do the 1 party to engage is the 1 that get rewarded the most ....plus ppl provoke mobs and run away in order to reset NMsI've always defended that making them popped (either through leves or through an item) was by far the best option.

yeah in FFXI the 1 to claim locked mobs out , and there were hacks for that too ~~ , JP winned 80% because lower ping , the amount of times i have seen mobs pop claimed already, SE tried to fix that by making the mobs have a grace of time until u were able to claim it, still ugh..
and thats why instanced content was created ~~
This makes me sad, it's very unfair and highlights how hunts are the worst implemented new feature in patch 2.3. People using this third party app can then easily get all the gear upgrades they want, while people playing fair will be lost and get nothing. I am surprised the hunts work this way... I figured it would be more like maps, where a player causes a hunt target to spawn, and only that player's party can attack it, so every party spawns get their own targets rather than the whole world having to share one where only the fastest get to participate. I am not fast at finding the targets and thus I have never seen one. Before the patch was released, it was my most anticipated feature, but it's turned out to be something I now ignore entirely.
I'm fairly sure SE will be tracking the amount of Allied seals obtained by people, and they can use that to monitor said individuals in order to serve punishment. So yeah, go rack up thousands of them and see what happens. Third-party tool use is sketchy at best, but there is absolutely no defence against POS-hacking (teleporting to a location) and they will ban for this, no doubt.
It was bad enough the first few days, but they've managed to turn the entire content into something that's impossible to legitimtely participate in now. I won't even bother with Elite Marks because it's an epic waste of most peoples' time and completely ruined now. SE, you need to do something to fix the problem - and fast.
Another example of how low sad little cheaters will sink in terms of morality. Pathetic, childish and incredibly arrogant, all of you doing this. You don't deserve any kind of mercy and I hope you lose your accounts. You are no better than the RMT scum plaguing us every day.
They could if they wanted to and the game itself could always detect when you're reading and messing with memory, which is essentially what this is and is no surprised people are using this.
Except for an extremely long time HNMs have been thrown into BCNMs and forced popped in the overworld in XI now and even for more than half of it's life they used a system since ToAU called 'ZNM' which eventually let you pop a similar version of the overworld monster which actually had better gear and gear for far more people that could get use out of it. Also Fracrure and Naakuals, which are overworld spawns but controllable on when they pop in a sense which the whole server can easily get to if they wanted to. So NMs haven't been a problem for a very long time, it was only when they did Magian trials did you see people flooding certain ones, and even those were 99% useless to people that no one ever bothered with from 2002 - 2009 lol.reminding me of the utter shite that was HNM camping in FFXI.

1. People were asking for the ye old kings system to be in FFXIV.Except for an extremely long time HNMs have been thrown into BCNMs and forced popped in the overworld in XI now and even for more than half of it's life they used a system since ToAU called 'ZNM' which eventually let you pop a similar version of the overworld monster which actually had better gear and gear for far more people that could get use out of it. 2. ZNMs didn't drop a Ridill/EBody, which is why we kept camping kings after it was introduced. Even after Odin was introduced, which gave a chance at an EBody, we still camped kings because he didn't drop a Ridill and you could fight Nidd more often than Odin.
3. If you had actually read my whole post instead of cherrypicking stuff you'd see that I do mention making everything use pop items.
If there's anyway they could set it up so you only get credit for killing each unique hunt once per day that could level things out. Sort of like a daily hunting log that resets w/ the roulette timers. It's not ideal but it would prevent people from spamming the kills and keeping them locked down.
