Oh, and we need a caster tank of some kind. Not Red Mage, a pure caster. No I don't know how that would work.

I'm not sure what makes them think a rogue class is any better in terms of that... it's practically a synonym. It's defined as a dishonest and unprincipled person. It's merely less specific in terms of HOW they are dishonest, as they may or may not steal.
