Why is dying my AF armor so complicated?
Why can't I get lightnings hair? Why can't SE just simply make it available from the aesthetician? (It's just hair, so don't come at me with the "it wouldn't be fair" reply).
Why does the HM bosses drop crafting mats 80% of the time?

Failing and stuff when you have a success rate of 90% or higher and you fail it at least twice in a row. For people that don't know math, missing two times in a row with 90% chance to succeed is .001 or a 0.1% chance of happening lol

From those that do know math, the chance of two 10% events happening in a row is actually 1%.

Why the hell do materials have to drop in the same slots as chests in the i70/i80 dungeons, I'm trying to get this goddamn Pilgrim's Eyepatch because it's the only healer eyepatch, but it literally drops in one chest from one boss in one dungeon and that chest can still be overwritten by the crafting mats drop and yes I know they're worth some money but do you know how disappointed I get to not even see it dropping some sort of loot? Like "haha, you never even had a chance this run".

It's only been a week and I'm already sick of syrcus tower. It has nothing to do with the dungeon, when the players in the dungeon arn't craptastic it's actually enjoyable. The problem is this game is plaqued with too many bad players.

I really wish SE would add an option to down vote players...kind of like a reverse commendation. Something along the lines of "if you get 10+ down votes in a 24hr period you can't use the duty finder for 24 hours or something. This would force players to either [A] learn to actually play the game and spend time to get better or [B] cause bad players to quit the game, making it more enjoyable for the rest of the player base.

Currently waiting for my duty finder lockout to reset because after 5 wipes on the first boss the alliance refused to vote abandon...then a player left. Apparently they changed it to where you still get the penalty for leaving even after another player has left.

would you care to explain? I only played XI for about 7 days total playtime and gave up when I saw the ridiculous gear prices for the gear needed to beat maat.

If I had to guess,

Much like XI, all new recipes that have been added since release have required expensive/rare mats and requiring being a max level crafter regardless of the resultant item's level or utility (eg: the augmentation items, the spring dress a lvl 1 vanity item needing Vanya silk, twin thread, and a 2 star crafter). Unlike most other MMOs which will add new recipes across all level ranges, usually with vanity items being new low level recipes to keep old low level mats semi relevant.

Which of course brings me to the fact that SE and the FF MMOs have a problem with RMT... And to a degree with nonsense like the above it's hard to be surprised as they have a bad habit of bringing it upon themselves.

3 star magic brooms. What happened to "as long as you have FC housing you can participate in chocobo raising and breeding in the future." Yeah, as long as you have an FC house and happen to have a 3 star crafter. Or enough gil to blow 250k on a broom each time you need one.
