Leel 30 job change missed too much often

Hi all,
I noticed a good number of new people totally misses the job change at 30, and goes there only after being pointed to, from some other player.

TBH, when I were with my very first lv30 class (Archer), I got to be brd only at lv35, because I found my class trainer haven't the class quest when gone there at 35.

After some research I learnt about jobs and all. All other jobs then, I had no issues, but because I now were aware of the system and specifically looking for job change when at 30.

I usually read quest text carefully, it is strange I had overlook text on that case, but it may be happened. Now that I see this a not rare occurrence, I wonder is maybe the job change not explained enough on class quest progression?

Some people actually wait until 34 to take the job quest in order to get a bit more power and/or an ability before taking on the quest. I do this most of the time with quests.

I suppose there are also people who have in fact obtained their job crystal, but unequip it while running solo to get the extra cross-class abilities that it takes away from you when you use your job.

I were wondering right about that, because I got tricked myself too

@AlexPayne: I don't think it is a viable reason, the Soul crystal bonus is so much overwelming that makes void any reason to want keep the base class, xclass skills included, imho. Yes there is people who does that, but on any discussion about it (at least, the few ones I had read on forum) concluded that Soul needs be equipped.

There's also plenty of people who are only leveling a class for a specific skill like stoneskin or blood for blood which comes a few levels after 30. If they don't have the secondary class at 15 for the job quest, there's not much point in spending the time getting that up, just to do a job quest to play that job for a few lvls for an ability, then never touch it again.
