    Chocobo stables are not great

So for the hell of it my FC bought a chocobo stable. For science. I'm fortunate enough to be in a position where I can make unilateral decisions like that.

We trained my chocobo once and it got 9600 exp. Not bad, but the stable condition already degraded to fair. Which is a little harsh I think.

But then, we left the chocobo in overnight, and apparently stable condition degrades over time if you have chocobos in there at ALL! I came back the next day and it was poor! Why is this a good idea?! Not only do you not have access to your chocobo if it's stabled, but it actually costs your FC brooms to keep it there! I don't understand why anyone would do this, when the brooms currently cost millions of gil.

Unless you plan on drastically increasing the rate of glazenut and broombush production, chocobo stables are a system I seriously doubt anyone will use.

I think you are only meant to stable them when training..

Don't the stables start at fair? Our fc used a broom maybe 36 hours ago and the condition is still good with around 5 chocobos in there. As for the brooms if you gather the mats yourself you make 20 at a time so not really an issue considering it only takes 5 bamboo sticks, 1 glazenut and 1 broombush.

How you've put it it would seem you have more chocobos in the stable? More chocobos equals more ahem "waste" which would need cleaning. If that is the case then get everybody using it to pitch in to get the mats needed to make your own.

But leaving them in there gives other fc members the option to train your chocobo. For the achievement and extra experience ofc ^^

My friend got the "achievement". It consists of a barding that's headdress only, and it's a color of blue that doesn't go with anything else you would put on the Chocobo. Achievement acquired, disappointment ensues.

I'm training mine for the pure EXP, but I unstable it immediately. Made the mistake of leaving her in the stable once and when I called for MittensTheFierce, she was not at my beck and call. Oh well, lesson learned. LOL

Chocobo exp gained varies according to the level of your bird and the condition of the stables.
My FC's stable's condition went down faster when more people were actively training birds. The fewer that are doing so, the good condition lasts a while.
