What's the point for getting the new pvp gear?

I understand taking out morale is requested by players and I have no problem with it,
but that and ignoring materia just made level 100 pvp gear completely useless, there's absolutely no advantage for it and pvp players have to go to frontline for more than 150 times to get the whole set.

Would it be appropriate if at least change the morale stats to some other stats? Otherwise just like people said the new pvp gears are just for glamour casting, and frankly they're not that good looking.

I think they are currently reevaluating things. Remember Rank 40 and the new armors were added in patch 2.25 at the end of April. Serious problems were only really visible starting around the end of May. i80 seems to have been a stop gap in order for them to have the time to figure out what went wrong.

At least some of the i100 PvP sets are popular with some people. I like the Lionsmane and Snaketongue sets and I know several people who like the Bearmaw set.

Maybe they'll have a use later? Also, for glamour. I like how I can look like I'm wearing a Vanya robe, without paying for a Vanya robe. Plus, what else are you going to spend them Marks on?
