    Praise for PvP

I feel like they've covered a lot of what people wanted and now offer a good pvp experience.
    • We have large-scale pvp in a large open field.
    • i80 Level sync for fairness.
    • Don't need to grind for pvp gear to be useful in frontlines.
    • Win trade exploit probably not happening in 72 player battles.
    • PvP actions unlocked from the start.
    • And you even get allagan tomes.

Thank you S-E for a great addition to the game.

I do have to say they did a decent job with fronlines. Everythig you said is true and the hotfix for the DF system for it is great.

Still, I can not help but feel the rewards for it might be a tad to high. By this I mean people who are doing well in the den get little to show for their work anymore. A win in there should now be treated at a higher rate I really think. Think of it, you can sit back and do nothing and get tons of exp for PVP in a short time 50myth 10sol. Also i80 seems a little to low, I think by now the average player has to be i90+ with myth dropping from the sky.

I think its a good start, but they do need to fix the den to reward thoes that have put the time in.

There is still no reasoning as to why PvP gear and morale are turned off in frontlines. The rewards in frontlines are high enough for players without any PvP gear to obtain a full set pretty quickly. Other than for glamour purposes, PvP gear has almost no usage, especially with no one queueing arena. It is a major disappointment for anyone who spent countless months in Wolves Den grinding up rank and gear.

Yes, wolves den could do with offering a much greater rewards. It never did offer enough even before frontlines came and outclassed it in many ways.

I think it's great that people can be on a level playing field from their very first battle, having earned no pvp gear at all. I feel it needed to make a good impression to get people to stay. Yes it reduces the allure of pvp gear.. maybe they should not have created the morale stat to begin with, and I think it would definitely help if they didn't have the rank restrictions. PvP r40 will still take a long time I bet.

I think the gear rewards are high on purpose to get more players geared for WD so they start trying their skills in there again. They I90 sets are still expensive requiring about 15 wins to buy one piece in frontlines so I think it works well. Full set of i70 pvp gear is in reach for most players after a casual weekend grind in Frontlines. I think SE nailed the PVP format this time. Very enjoyable and fun.

This is so true, you can be up and running in i90 in less than a week. thats still pretty level playing field.
