    Suggestion: Player Residence Tower Defense

    I don't know if anyone's suggested this yet, but it would be very interesting if we could get an instanced encounter where an entire ward of players must defend their holdings against an invading force. It could be truly massive, with multiple Free Companies participating in a given event. Players have to set up barricades, cannons, and specific units to help guard key assets and push the invaders back. It could be role independent, since players could set up NPC defenders to fulfill key roles like tanking and healing.

    What do you guys think?

    Would be good with expansion, defending outposts against dragon attacks. Or later down the line against Garlean counter attacks if we go towards Ala Mhigo and beyond. If lose the defence it turns into an enemy outpost that needs to be clearred out again to gain access to the amenities contained (vendors, quests etc).

    Sounds fun to add a level of dynamics to the world.

    The PS3 situation is an unfortunate and unavoidable problem. They really can't design large scale group content around the PS3 architecture because that system just can't handle it.
