Hunts: There is no problem with design.

I don't know how anyone can say Hunt isn't flawed, but at the same time there's no way to fix them without making people angry.

If the rewards are good (Which they currently are, almost stupidly so right now) then everyone will want to do them and they will be monopolized (People already reporting 3rd party software being used to track them, hundreds of people raging out every day due to B ranks being pulled early).

If the rewards aren't good then nobody will do the content and it will be ignored or regarded as wasted content.

There is no middle ground to be had here at the moment without serious revamping of the system, people are only zerging Hunts right now because they offer -EVERYTHING-. Myth, Soldiery AND Seals which lead to Sands and Oils. Let's not forget that SE was stupid enough to price Sands and Oils below i70 Vanity Gear in terms of value here.

When people aren't doing Hunts they feel as if they're missing out on something because they are literally the be all end all right now in terms of "reward" in this game. It's a total mess. Don't get me wrong, I hated patch 2.2 - aka the patch of Brayflox 2 pulls but this is even worse. Hunts basically eclipse all other content right now, Party Finder has become a freaking Ghost Town since this patch dropped. Hunts were meant to be a Full Party Endeavor AT MAXIMUM. Instead we have full Linkshells (Leading to like 200+ people per mob sometimes) destroying these things before they can even think, there is no way this is working as intended.

The rewards are the real issue here, not the system.

1. Remove Oil/Sand and just leave that stuff to Coil/CT
2. Either have Alex be a RNG drop or add it to Grand Company Seal purchase and Hidden Maps as well.

B ranks - soloable. Weren't meant to have 1/4 the entire server to get there to kill

A ranks - party of 8 plus a few more. Again, wasn't meant for 1:/2 the server to get to before you kill it.

S ranks - a lot of people are meant to take these guys down, makes sense to wait for a lot of people to get there. The hp of the mobs are fine.


In all honesty, the design is not bad at all. It's the community with multiple full linkshells congregating to one a rank that's the problem.

Hunts need to be fixed ASAP. The idea of hunts is a great thing for the game, but the way they did it is horrible.

SE please fix this. I have never seen the entire community this toxic toward other players. It is pretty much Blist this Blist that, everyone name shaming people because they broke a rule they had no idea about it in the first place.

I think most of the hunter are decent human being but all it take is "one person" intentionally or not attack and other will follow, and that "one person" lee[ign attacking first
