Actually, the bug here is that Fulke referred to her as Serpent Sergeant First Class Sorainne, and not as Serpent Sergeant First Class Haurtelle.

In the English version, we decided to give all NPCs ranked within the Grand Companies both first and last names. The reason for doing this was so that we could use the last names when referring to players with titles. This is an attempt to keep with the militaristic nature of the organizations, as calling an individual by their title followed by their first name just seemed a bit off to us.

For example, Fulke, too, is the last name of First Serpent Lieutenant Syro Fulke. Again, this is just a very minor detail that would almost certainly go unnoticed in all instances, were it not for this bug of Fulke referring to Haurtelle by her first name.

Of course, there are certain contexts in which using the first and/or full names is entirely appropriate, be it for emphasis, a formal introduction, etc., and we reserve the right to do so! But this was not one of them.

And so this bug has been fixed (Fulke now calls her Haurtellle), and will be reflected in 1.18a. Thanks!
