They've stated they won't repeat the Lightning events "for the foreseeable future" because those events are a big ol ad for the XIII series of games, which currently have nothing more happening on that front. The holiday events (including the one with the Kabuto, Heavensturn (aka New Year's)) are almost certainly repeating.
