It's not about spending money. It's about avoiding debt, which is what you end up with after being careless and spending hundreds to see a silly monster.
Sure lets all give PC's and PS4's to the PS3 users.
THAT will solve hunts!
no , just if you on PS3 or low grade PC , and somehow spotted hunt NM , solution simple - don't wait ppl's start battle yourself , even if croud pop up most likely there will be enough damage dealed to get credit .
Enjoy your time on the blacklist of hundrets of players.
There's nothing SE can do about it imo. My computer isn't "high end" anymore but when I built it about 2 years ago it was. I still get 60 fps pretty much at all times and have never encountered slow down of any sort in this game... until I fought my first S rank. The literal stream of mounted players riding towards this giant swirling mass of effects and players was comical until the enemy (A giant dragon) just vanished and I could no longer target it. I had to run to where I believed the mob was to get it to pop back into view. Pretty frustrating, but still a good memory. I wish I had screen shotted the convoy of players coming from Camp Dragonhead, it looked like I-35 at 5:30pm.
The real problem is.... Playstation players and Computer players are on the sames servers... But now... They have choose to put us together... They should implant content who works fine in the 2 worlds.... If they can't... Just don't do a game with cross-platform... The hunts are really annoying for ps3 players, sorry if somes of us CAN'T BUY a ps4 for many reason.
Finally happened for me on PS4. Though it only went invisible while no one was attacking the mark. Once the fight commenced, it popped back into view and we pulled a Sabin and Bum Rushed that mofo.

I had a major problem with this today. Logged on for my lunch break and saw someone shouting a Hunt. I was on WAR at the time soloing and ran over. I normally go BRD but I was worried it would be dead before the cooldown wore off. I get there and there's no tank and I get asked to tank. "No problem," I think. The thing will be dead in :05 anyway.
Nope. I had no idea they'd buffed the HP (hadn't read the patch notes yet). I Tomahawk and people started spamming skills and I completely lose the mob. Can't see anything. Massive lag. Someone's yelling at me to Overpower, and I'm thinking, "Yeah, sure, where?" All my skills are red as if the mob isn't in range. It finally pops on my screen and a DRG is kiting it. I manage to get hate and keep it, but that was some seriously godawful lag.
From now on I'll just go SMN or BRD. At least now I know I don't have to worry about the cooldown.
I just hope the PS3 won't hold back any content. Amazes me how they wanted an 06' released console to be able to play a brand new MMO.
