Tonight i did main story R46 "Futures perfect".
As a mrd it was very hard. I died over 5 times before i succeded.
The key is that you need sleepmagic to sleep the mobs while a canon target them and kill them in one shoot.If you are nearby you will also get killed as the canon makes over 9000 damage in one shot.
With sleep its easy. Sleep mob, run away and baaam you are done.
Another thing i noticed is how fast my equipment durability was gone when i used return to revive myself.
Oy yes, forgot to told you about the great reward you get when finish this mission.
46.000 sp!!! and 138.000 Gil.

I did it with MRD (R46) earlier in one go.

It was pretty easy to be honest. It sounds dumb but the way to do it is literally run around the Juggernaut in a circle with the Centurion targeted.

Make it so the blast of the Juggernaut kills the two minions and every time you run past the Centurion you whack him with AA without needing to touch a thing. Lazy but smart, yes.
Once the minions are gone it's a case of Brutal Swing and whatever other ws you prefer and you're done. No hassle!

Yeah, I did the quest only a few weeks ago. Kicking myself now.

If you're a combat class, you can still beat the soldiers ok, you just need to keep moving as well and not get caught in the targeting circle when it goes red.

I broke out an R40 THM after dying several times as an R46 miner. Beat it easy with some handy DoT spells once I changed.

I did the quest post patch and therefore got to enjoy the whopping 46,000 sp! I really do think however SE SHOULD give everyone who has completed this quest PRE patch 46,000 sp to the DOW DOM of their choice. It only seem fair. 46,000 sp is a good chunk.

I found it easy ONCE i figured out what to do. At first I was trying to combat the soldiers and getting pwned by both them AND the Juggernaut. But once i figured out to just run around and let the Juggernaut do the work for me, it was quite simple. I died aobut 4 times myself.

Can you get the SP reward on a crafter or gatherer class or only battle classes?

i Found this quest full of BS .. now im with patch 1.18 die 3-5 because of timers.. BEWARE that money will be used for your REPAIRS..

When I did it, I just killed the two soldiers and hurt the Centurion so he ran away, easy peasy. And I didn't use any heal spell. No need Magitek Canon.
