Oil of Time in Syrcus Tower?

Hi everyone, I didn't think it was possible to get Oil of Time in Syrcus Tower yet but my partner and I both got one from there. I got mine on the last chest on my 1st run, she got hers on the last chest of her 2nd run. It counted as the weekly item so it wasn't in the 4th chest that only sometimes appears.

Does anyone know anything else about this? I'm totally cool with it, just wondered

Oil and UAT are part of the weekly lockout loot ^^ you can check it in the Lodestone database

Ya having oils in there now has me debating on whether I should use ST to gear an alt job or get oils every week to upgrade my mains jewelry. I haven't grabbed my loot yet this week. The small stat upgrade from oil just doesn't feel worth it to me over a brand new shiny piece of gear. Now if it was sands dropping the decision would be easy.

Going by previous live letters they may add sands at a later date, but at present it is only oil and UAT. Also just to note, it is possible for both to drop for just one party; just had it happen to me (but I'd already grabbed Phlegethon's gauntlets...)

Yes I got oil but would rather have the sand drop instead.

Either OIL or UAT drops@ final boss.
It appear randomly like 2/6 runs.

Didn't get to see sand yet.

Can somebody remind me what's the reason to do first part of the CT again?
I kinda love that we have these 2 raids in the game but every time I go into the labyrinth I'm kinda like "why am I here again?" I wish the tomes were a bit more plentiful given the massive time investment from somebody who already has all the CT gear.

Yeah... I've got this odd feeling that one of the update notes after tonight's maintenance may be "fixed issue wherein Oil of Time and Sands of Time were dropping in Syrcus Tower."
