anima yes yes YES.
That's all i can think off. If anyone played XI then their suggestions might bee nice
Off topic but I'm gonna say it. FFXIV needs a Battleship Island.
(Nods to Eden.)
Another Suggestion to these "Summons" could be like Odin/Behemoth Fates.
The uber strong ones come once every 36-72 hours. Everyone must Zerg them to finish them off or its a wipe.
Some of the others should be from Hunts meeting certain criteria.
Battle ships aren't a bad idea. Like fighting a boss like Leviathan on a battle ship but
What be awesome is an open world afterwards where more areas than we currently have to continue the story line. (Expansion)
Also maybe some Battle Arenas? Where you have certain levels from Light Party, to Alliance size groups. Fighting from 3-8 set of monsters depending on difficulty and then going to the "Primals" area.
Underworld needs to be added later. Fitting for Anima and Exodus.
isnt' Tiamat like, the exact copy of Hydra?
Nah cause that's currently the problem with the Odin/Behemoth FATEs, consolidated into one area which only allow a mass zerg to kill because the more people, the quicker it goes down, the harder it is to get credit.
For these FATEs they should be a huge radius and be more grand in design, requiring logical teamwork to get through. They should be FATEs that when they appear failure at the start will be high cause you just won't know what to do.
Let's take Odin and Behemoth for example.
Odin appears, Atomos appear around the region and "Dark Followers appear" each "Dark Follower" that is spawned makes Odin stronger so to engage with him right away is unwise however Odin will quickly make his way towards Atomos being attacks so a group would be needed to hold down Odin while other people within the FATE go to the Atomos and take it down while others defeat the Dark Followers. Once the Dark Followers and Atomos are destroyed Odin will be at his weakest but as the fight progress he will summon more Atomos in the region, the "Scion" would be notifying adventurers via linkpearls of the current location of the Atomos and NPCs along with members of Scion would help in assisting with the FATE.
--------------------
With Behemoth a similar concept where Behemoth will be spawning Meteors in the region, they will make landfall on the land near the villages.
There would be a Dmg meter to determine how much dmg the monsters appearing from the meteor are doing to the villages, if the dmg treshold reaches a certain amount then the battle fails/you lose.
-----------------------
Say there was Leviathan I'd say most likely occur near Aleport, basically the port would have accesible tools that would be useable by multiple players in which they would have to hit back target attempting to reach land or else you'll have to fight them. The Sahagin would be attacking from the west and of course the scion would be helping. For those who have reached max rank in the sahagin beastmen quest they would be able to talk to the sahagin and seek aid from them/also be taken to a special location to allow them an extra edge in fighting back Levi.
While you are trying to keep the land safe, there would be 3 boats going off in 10 min increments, each group would only be able to bring 36-72 on each boat but it would always check to make sure there is at least 2-3 tanks and 4-8 healers going on each boat til the very last moment where the rest could be filled with DD.
Then for that 10 min period those 36+ players would be facing off against levi meanwhile the next group would be preparing to get rdy while others still continue to fight back the monster from reaching the land.
----------------------------
Basically what I"m getting at is, if they are going to add these mobs, it shouldn't be a mindless zerg, that just isn't fun, they can start to take chances and be more dynamic about it, actually making it a FATE which requires basic teamwork between members working together and playing roles in synergy to complete the objective.
---
To add one more thing to this, the dmg done to the areas because of the FATEs this could be an opportunity to have DOL to gather materials to help with the rebuilding process and DOH to bring in what is needed to help with repairs, there would be a 100% cap that is needed for the FATE to be done at 100% potency but then DOL/DOH would be able to bring that potency to 150% to give an extra edge for when those FATEs do start. Of course with these job acquisitions they would be rewarded properly for turning in materials/crafted gear to the places of interest to help DOW/DOM for the upcoming fight in those FATEs

Would love love love to see Fenrir in a fight similar to Odin.
As far as Alexander, a few of my friends and I were speculating on an idea we had with him. Given his history, Alex is normally seen as a benevolent being, one of holy power and protect, right? And again from reading, his "real" form is hidden inside that mechanical body of his; it wouldn't surprise me if he's hidden in Eorzea much like Ultima Weapon was hidden under Ala Migo (SP). What if he was found, dormant, by the good guys (Like NOAH) and was being worked to see if he could be reactivated for the good of Eorzea without actually knowing what he is? Something happens though and he eventually becomes that raid fight he's likely to wind up as.
