screw artisan specs.... lvl BSM and LTH desynth and do what that famous video (how to make 10 mil gil) says. Desynth artisan chocobo saws for 8 spruce plys each.

artisan specs = a chance of 1x mastercraft
artisan weapons = a chance of 1-3 mastercrafts


I have had over 80 mastercrafts on hand at one time already because of this. I went on a money making binge for a couple weeks doing nothing but desynthing. All i do is desynth bridals sandals and sell everything but the spruce lumber..usually turn up a fast profit from that alone making your lumber absolutely free. Then go to Outer La Noscea (21,17) unlock the beast tribe to access the vendor and purchase aldgoat horns for dirt cheap and synth a ton of horn glue.
all non hq horn glue synths with the hq spruce lumber and all hq horn glue with the non hq spruce lumber. You can make spruce ply without even touching the market board...except for crystals (unless you farm your own).
The results are very random but always rewarding.
Worst result i ever had: 20 desynths and got 9 mastercrafts
Best result i ever had: 28 desynths and got 38 mastercrafts
Everyone seems to be doing it now thou, its getting heavily undercutted on marketboard lately.
*Cypress non hq logs been cheap lately.... save all your aged pestle pieces from your 65-80 lvling and use them to make perfect pestles to desynth. between this and starting artisan weapon desynths around 80 ish... you will be 110 fast. the perfect pestles can yield up to 2x FCIII's that i seen, not sure if it can reach 3 or not.
