    No cutscene skipping

No matter how many times and how nicely I ask in final dungeons, people still keep skipping cutscenes and defeat bosses without me. it just doesn't feel right to me if i don't watch them and no, I can't watch all of them in Inns.
I suggest that if at least one player won't skip cutscene, others can't either. That way even newcomers can watch cutscenes and fight bosses.

Yes, you can watch All of them in the inn. Everyone does in the main scenario when they are doing it for the first time. I understand you because it's more cool when you see in the right time but you have to adapt to it like everyone did. It makes things faster and more productive

while yes, you can technically watch all of them in the inn after the fight, my problem with this is unlike most people, I actually care about the lore in the game.
so your telling me that I need to skip every cutscene, watch them horribly out of order of the fights they are taking place around, and completely ruining the timing of the story during said fights,
only because the other players just -happened- to either not care themselves or have already seen them multiple times?
is going on while people are in a cutscene a bug/glitch/something broke? no.
but is it polite or respectful in any way? no
in all honesty, arguing about this is just about as worthwhile as arguing for/against teleporting as opposed to walking everywhere
rushing a fight when clearly some of your party members are not ready to start because they are in a cutscene, if you wipe due to it, that's on you.
you shouldn't punish a 1st time player by forcing them to skip things they don't want to. that's just mean

Did you look under the Duties tab for Praet, because that's where all of the in-dungeon scenes are. The others are listed under Main Scenario.

Confusing and disjointed? Yes, but still there.

It was designed poorly and that's SE's fault. They give decent rewards (in the main scenario roulette) for players who likely completed that portion of the story ages ago. They do this so new players actually have others to run the instances with, however, the rewards are terrible if you have to take the time to sit through all of the cut scenes. Since you don't have to sit through the cut scenes people skip them. Not only that, they're now auto-skipped.

If everyone had to wait on any 1 player that was still in a cut scene they could just troll people by not progressing the dialog. The current situation is really about as good as they can do considering they littered those instances with lengthy cut scenes. If veteran players had to watch them then no veteran players would ever run them.

    You have two options.

    1) Roll on a JP server. I've watched every cutscene in game. Getting locked out is the exception. We often wait around for the new players to finish before moving on.

    2) Create a party using the party finder. Doesn't even have to be a full party. 4 will do, job doesn't matter. With half the team on your side, they won't be able to kick any of you out too.

If I am queuing up for main scenario roulette, I enter under the assumption that I will be helping people who actually NEED these dungeons, possibly for their first clear. I understand they want to enjoy the story AS it happens rather than review everything in the inn. The depth of storyline in this game is one of the things that sets it apart from other MMOs, and it's a shame so many people choose to skip them even before watching them a first time -- but, that is their choice. What boggles my mind is that other people think it's okay to tell others to skip, too.

I think SE made a mistake here:

    1) You can engage bosses even when people are still in cutscenes, AND lock them outside of the arena.
    2) So many really important, LONG cutscenes happen between battles... especially in Praetorium where it's one boss after another after another. So, someone could be stuck in a cutscene and get locked out of the next boss battle easily (trash really isn't as important).

SE should put a restriction on which bosses can be engaged while someone is in a cutscene, or adjust future dungeons so that long cutscenes don't occur between fights. They can't exactly alter the main scenario cutscenes because that flow of story has already happened, but they can be more mindful of these things in the future. However, I think they already said they have no plans to create future 8-man dungeons at the current time.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I will never ask people to skip cutscenes. And if others insist on going ahead without the person watching the cutscene, I will wait for that person so I can show them where to go (if it isn't a straight line). The one downside to creating a restriction on being able to engage the boss while someone is in a cutscene is that it is possible people WILL abuse this feature (sitting in cutscenes indefinitely to troll others, or make the point that they don't like the feature). So, to failsafe this they could add an exception to the rule: "A boss can't be engaged until a cutscene is over, unless the party has been waiting for a minute -- then they may engage." But there's another flaw to this... cutscenes often don't trigger until you run beyond the boss line. So, people could get around this by crossing the line at the same time and still locking a new player out. In order to stop abuse of that, the cutscenes would need to trigger elsewhere. It's all very confusing and require a LOT of adjustments... which is likely why SE hasn't taken an official stance on it outside of allowing you to report players for downright harassment.

In short, I think people should just be nicer and more understanding. I've seen people drop out of dungeons due to being treated rudely because "how dare they enjoy a cutscene for a videogame they are paying for?" Well, my opinion is... if you are getting the bonus myth from main story roulette, you are getting some of that bonus myth for being patient with new players. Same with low level roulette.

Here is another mistake: Making a level 50 a max level. People have lost their motivation to fight normal enemies (expect those you have to defeat in order to advance). They just keep skipping them too. I find it BORING!

What I am telling is that is your choice if you see them or not, the problem is that the rest of the party won't wait for you and I am just talkig about the main senarios. When it comes to me, I wait for them, but that full party isn't just made of me, so there will be always some players that will not respect your choice and move without you
