Anyone else experiencing lag?

So 2.3 came out recently, and I didn't have any problems before or the day of... Now I'm experiencing so much lag in every area, dungeon, and my settings have always been the same... This doesn't sound normal for my laptop and internet speed T_T. Please tell me I'm not the only one experiencing this? If so, HALP. ;-;

It could just be the server you play on. I got a ton of lag yesterday, but that was only during primetime traffic hours. Everyone was out doing hunts, so of course that's gonna mess with things. Perfectly fine once it was no longer the heavy traffic hours.

My UI keeps blinking in Mor Dhona since the patch... and only in that zone. I'm chalking it up to lag? I don't know...

I've been experiencing this as well. Most noticably in Mor Dhona, but small flickers here and there zoning into other places too.

I noticed an increase in lag and loading times (not load screens, as in the time it takes for the game to load players and npcs out in the world, etc). I haven't changed any settings, haven't even been on the game for a month or so before the newest patch and even when I came back before the patch, I only really did small things around the FC house.

So yeah, curious about the issue. Obviously more traffic since the patch just hit, but I didn't have this much lag during 2.2's patch, so..

I have had massive lag and server connection fluctuations too. In ST i started out in Syclla lag hang up every so often, and by last boss I saw everyone else commenting on same issue so it wasnt just me. Heck I hung up on one of the meteors and I came back with central node at 50% and meteor getting close to hit. Then I started having massive lag and 90000's in each zone I went to and log ins after this. Never had this problem before. I am running a gtx780 black chill a 3770k and 16gb ram so was finding it crazy it could of been my computer.

Edit: oh ya and I would notice my server connection on character selection would go from poor to excellent back to poor so I dont know whats going on

Since the patch, I get lag from roughly 8:40-10pm EDT (so prime time) that makes dungeons/raids unplayable. Verizon, east cost, yada yada...
