Will there ever be party instances that require DoH or DoL?
I think, especially with the new Frontlines, that there is an excellent chance to utilize these jobs for odd-jobs (repairing structures, gathering needed materials while avoiding the enemy, etc)
Or, advanced recipes that require more than 1 crafter. Rather than just making the parts and turning them into an NPC, it would be much more fun to craft by using multiple crafters working in tandem.
Will it ever be possible to form Free Company Alliances?
I really love my FC, and have made great friends several FCs to an extent that we share a linkshell an do many events together.
It would be nice to coordinate this or be able to share something together...at the very least allow them access to my house/house facilities.
2 Questions regarding housing:
1) Will personal homes (not FC homes) be instanced? Something like FFXI's mog-garden, with a house.
2) Will it ever be possible for a FC to have its own instanced neighborhood/wards for personal housing?
I REALLY like the idea of having a quiet pocket just to myself and not having to deal with neighbors or people taking up all available plots right away.
Alternatively will it ever be possible to have an instanced "Free Company Members Only" neighborhood?
I also think this would be a great way to spend downtime. (upgrading, expanding or improving our home)
Are there any plans to introduce RP (role playing) servers?
Would you consider having more Meaningful / Interesting Stats on Equipment (e.g., "Enhances [XYZ] Ability" or making other Stats more useful (STR vs. DEX vs. VIT on a Tank)) so that you can have more Gear Sets per Item Level, which means more Horizontal Progression for Rewards?
This is so that we feel like our efforts aren't *wasted* every 4 - 6 months (w/ a new Item Level). It also can stem the "Item Level Inflation" happening now, and make your equipment feel like it's worth the effort to acquire. We're only Level 50, and yet we're at Item Level 115. I can see this inflating to absurd levels like Item Level 700, while we're still Level 75 or something like that.
When will Mac Version of FFXIV ARR be release?
Are there any plans at all to split the Scholar and Summoner stats so that a player may play both effectively, rather then investing all stats into one?
Any plans to add content for airship/ferry travel that makes trip last longer? Could offer two modes of travel: Long way and short way. The short way would be exactly as it is now. Pay some gil and zone in to next zone. Long way would make trip last a period of time where things like fates or fishing or general interaction/sightseeing could take place.
Please balance potions so that potions are more useful and Alchemist is more needed. Currently most if not all potions are useless. Potions meaning potions, elixers, ethers, attribute potions, etc. these potions lasting 15 seconds does not do much. Especially for MP/VIT potions. By the time the stat fills the new gap from the raised max the effect wears off and you go right back down.most potions are ignored by players.
