    Is there any plans for fixing or just making the mechanics less "Action oriented"?

    Point 1) It is really odd to expect players to make finely tuned jumps when the jumping mechanism is very unfluid.
    For example, the game doesn't even realize I'm moving until I land. This means I still get hit by enemy attacks even though I have jumped out of the "hazard zone". Or, in Crystal Tower, I take damage even though I jump over the poison floor traps.
    Additionally, some vistas require a timed jump to land (such as in Ul'dah). This leads to over or under jumping because I can't simply control the jump mid-flight. I get that it's supposed to feel "real world" maybe, but that's just not how jumping in a game works.

    Expanded: Action Oriented = Bad Idea?

    Point 2) Dodging attacks is a great idea, but not if the game has any kind of delay in my positioning.

    If I move my character outside the hazard area on my screen, then I should not be taking damage because the server hasn't updated my position. To be clear this is not an issue of computer or internet speed on my end as many other games (both action and MMO) have provided a fluid experience.

    Is it possible to have the players themselves be involved in the testing of upcoming content?

    The feedback from the players can be quite valuable. Even if the players don't comment what they think about it; making notes on how they behave and act in such content can be valuable for making adjustments before the content goes live.

    While professional playtesters are great for testing content and hammering out bugs, they are employees and are not likely to have the same mindset that the players have. I believe it would be beneficial to gain feedback from the player's point of view.

    In patch 2.2, weapons were added that are named based on Mythic Weapons in FFXI. Here are the ones from FFXI: Burtgang, Conqueror, Glanzfaust, Laevateinn, Liberator, Yagrush.

    I was wondering why Dragoon got Liberator which was the Dark Knight's Mythic. The weapon itself doesn't look like Liberator from FFXI but it actually looks similar to Ryunohige (and it is one of the mythics to look like its counterpart from FFXI).

    Ryunohige was DRG's mythic in FFXI, I was just wondering why it is Liberator this time in FFXIV?

    Can DRG's weapon be renamed to "Ryunohige" (their Mythic from FFXI), so that whenever DRK is added, they can get "Liberator"?

    The reason the name is important is theme. "Liberator" seems to contrast with the typical theme of Dark Knight but actually it added another way of viewing Dark Knights. It added an alternative view of DRK and that is why I find the name important. All Mythics in FFXI had background stories (there was a lore page for each Mythic Weapon), and Liberator added an extra theme to DRK that I really liked.

    Because of that, can DRG's weapon be changed to "Ryunohige" like in FFXI?

    Will we see any cross-over or homage's to dungeons from other titles (excluding the Final Fantasy series) in the Square Enix library? A favorite of mine is Star Ocean 2's Cave of Trials, where you faced the toughest monster, toughest puzzles, toughest bosses and acquired the best in-game loot.

    Levelsync

    Are there any plans to let parties go into duties without levelsyncing after the content has been completed before? I understand we don't want to give everyone a free ride but if I am looking for a piece of gear for glamour or trying to get items for crafting with my friends I think if we are going into the duty with higher levels we should be able to go in unlevelsynced as long as we have completed the content before and are in a full 4 man group. At the very least could we still have access to all of our abilities just have them be weakened?

    Final Fantasy Dungeons and Raids

    Is there any plans for these to become added to the open world content in game as a means of solo fighting creatures in those areas and a way to add to moving around the open world in lieu of teleporting?

    The coils, the CT-LOA, and several dungeons in game offer possibilities for this additional area to the open world to explore and enjoy with friends/FC members/solo without having to deal with the DF and also the problems with Raid groups who have players who think they are the best in game.

    Full Party Dungeons

    So far the only dungeons that full parties run are the two main scenario dungeons, are there any plans to develop more dungeons for full parties?
