Syrcus Tower Loot

In the patch notes for the Syrcus Tower it was said that the equipment loots would be restricted to one item per week, but there wasn't anything said about the small items also being part of this limit. Only the equipment loot. I ran the Syrcus Tower yesterday, the 9th, and upon reaching the final boss saw two items in the loot. I thought it was a regular chest and an additional, passed on the gear loot, and looted on the oil of time, again assuming that as it wasn't equipment it wouldn't count, and was given the message that my loot roll was taken for the week because I received it. If the items are meant to use the weekly roll that's fine, but it just seems confusing as I would have never rolled on an oil knowing that it counted as the weekly equipment loot drop. It's written right above the loot you're trying to roll that it will count for the weekly cap.
