Concerns with resetting GC allegiance and allied seals

Will changing Grand Company reset allied seals since the seals seem to be tied to your GC and what gear you can get from it.

Also, would changing GC to a GC you have never been and starting rank 1 hinder new content that has just been released?

good question, was just about to do the same. might be smart to hold off for a bit - I would think you would be limited access to higher rank items.

I think at this point, only a GM/mod would likely be able to answer this for you on the boards. Given that it's only been a couple days, chances aren't very great that someone on the forums would have done this yet.

I switched GC recently and I still have my Allied Marks.

Allied seals are shared between the GC's... Hence Allied...
The GC's provide GC unique equipment though.
