Yah I mean, they didnt add anything else. Oh, except Syrcus Tower, chocobo stables, main scenario content, tons of side quests, Ramuh, desynthesis, and QoL out the yinyang.
Ah yeah, that one casual raid that you know inside out in like three runs, about two hours of cutscenes, house-only content, and a Primal who barely anyone on is doing because they're too busy hunting 'till their eyes bleed before the sands get nerfed.
At least the new 4mans look pretty. I wonder which one will turn into the new Brayflox once this hunting fad dies...
Let me be clear here: Not only are hunts themselves bad, they're driving people out of other content who want the easy (and fast, repeatable, unlimited) way to Sands. That's going to make the game a very boring place very quickly, if the equivalent of max-level FATE grinding is our new optimal source of loot.
Too late, sorry.
The biggest positive change that NOBODY would argue with, is giving ALL ranks of mobs MORE HP. Period.
x20 the HP on B ranks.
x15 the HP on A ranks.
x10 the HP on S ranks.
Seriously.
That alone will eliminate 90% of the bitching this thread has caused, and many people will no longer rage quit when they can't get credit on a mob they've been camping for 12 hours, because it dies before they get there.
Would be a good solution. Then when SE sees the interest is declining they can slowly reduce the HP back to normal. Everyone can keep hunting and not that much changesThe biggest positive change that NOBODY would argue with, is giving ALL ranks of mobs MORE HP. Period.

Hunts are by far the biggest dissappointment in this patch. They should had made hunts just dailies instead of infinite grinding. Get a paper at the Grand Company once a day, use it and look for your mark in the zone, but it should work like a guildleve that only your party should be able to attack it and claim it. Since it will be just once a day and 1 per week, then the number of Allied Seals should be increased.
I really think they need a overhaul the hunts they need to make it you need to trade items to the ??? In the zone to spawn the monster then who ever is in the group that pop the monster is locked in to fight everyone else is locked out. But may have to scale down the S ranks to be killed by 24 people but hard to kill tho not just tank and spank bullshit we have Maybe having the dally hunts drop pop items for B. Then kill a B rank and so on till you can pop a S rank. May need to beef up the rewards as well. I liked the way Sky was in FFXI that was fun they could of made the hunts like that
The old ZNM method from XI was like that too not just sky and sea. I'd say they should make it more like ZNMs though instead of wandering around to farm a group of mobs for pop items; although without obviously having to take stupid pictures. It was a decent event and even top HNM LS would do them while the drops were good.I really think they need a overhaul the hunts they need to make it you need to trade items to the ??? That was what I was expecting when it was originally announced, and would have preferred that by far. I know some people complain about time-based lockouts but as someone who doesn't have unlimited time to spend on the game, they allow me to make steady progress without falling behind and feel satisfaction that I've done my dailies. And that's from someone working on T9 and getting a Novus - I just have a full-time job. This system penalises me for that and encourages hostility, while the dailies themselves give pointlessly small rewards compared to the zerg. They should had made hunts just dailies instead of infinite grinding. I'd like to see mark HP increased significantly, and the daily/weekly rewards become a much more significant part rather than a token gesture.
