i wasn't talking about the rewards. i was talking about the system. Elite Mark Bills should be just like Treasure Maps where a party of people can pop a difficult mob to fight for Allied Seals. instead of this crazy let the entire server zerg it system we have now.
Of course my opinion is just as subjective, I never said it wasn't. Which is all the proof you could ever need that all of the opinions in this entire thread of whine don't make any of it "correct".
Besides, great job at taking my sentences out of context and twisting them to how you prefer. My opinion that hunts are good is subjective, but the FACTS I stated are not, which you conveniently left out of your snipped quote. There is a lot of other content, I'm happy you didn't obsess over hunts. Most of the people in this thread are doing just that, and not doing it well, hence all of the complaints. They aren't reaping in the benefits like others are, and are getting upset.
2nd coil is still gated by being good. Only getting myth from dungeons was a bad idea, due to all of the people leaving Duties after the first two bosses were complete. Those things are fact, and can't be ignored.
I chose to spend my time doing hunts with this patch so far, you are choosing to unlock new content. More power to you. Have fun! Why are you even posting an opinion in a thread about hunts if you don't have time to do them? Oh, right.... to whine.
I never once told you, that you were bad because you didn't get as many seals as me. I could care less if you 4000 seals, I'm still happy with hunts because measuring my e-peen doesn't make me feel better as a person.
I also get 8 hrs of sleep. Caught 4 S rank hunts yesterday. Don't assume you know anything about me, "sir"
Your reply to me can be summarized as "I read what I want to read and reply trolololololol"
Maybe so, but I'm not going to stop taking advantage of it. And my remarks about coil still stand. Full i110 will not magically allow people to be good at T7. This thread is basically coilers whining that casuals can get i110. Who cares if the system is broke THEY SHOULDN'T BE ABLE TO GET RAID LEVEL GEAR!!!
What difference does it make? It takes exactly 1-2 pulls to realize if someone is capable of beating said content. If you're good, you can still get HA. Hell glamour the HA over the weathered if the weathered is BiS.
You don't even want to know how many seals I got on Tuesday.

The system honestly isn't that bad. You can work with it, its just that it does need tweaking in some areas. I already got a Sands of Time yesterday from 500 seals and a book that dropped to me and already have 150+ allied seals towards a second one. Just get a good 8-man group and scout eight areas and call your group if you spot something. For B ranks we just gathered and killed, A rank we would all gather and then tell the Hunt LS I am in that an A popped and then just wait till someone else starts the fight.
Is the system broken? No. Maybe broken in a sense I got a Sands of Time two days after patch release. Does it need tweaking to be better? Yes. My true complaint is how it feels that it goes against ideologies of how the game was structured.
No need to defend yourself. It is entirely squares fault and everyone is going take advantage of it if they can.Maybe so, but I'm not going to stop taking advantage of it. Edit:
The problem is, this basically destroys the whole gear progression. Now they can just remove the weekly lockouts from the new CT and Second Coil.

ITT: People who couldn't get their Naul kill.
People bitch about not having NMs
SE puts NMs in FATEs
People bitch about having FATEs
SE puts NMs into the open world
People bitch about having NMs
Good ol' forum logic. Thanks everyone for the laughs, making work seem less slow today.
I agree i was so waiting for hunts but after playing a few and seeing what i can get it's pointless it's way to hard and slow to get seals and the only cool looking stuff are the {2 pets} the gear is ugly :P i was hoping a hunt be like something you grab inv ppl in party finder go to a spot and load into a space no other players can be in like with story mode. That have been a smart way to do this but the way it is now is boring and seems to bring out the ass in ppl![]()
Correct me as I may be off base, but from my understanding the complaints are;
The hunts are being slaughtered in seconds making it practically impossible to get any kind of rewards.
The fact that the hunts allow one to get Sands and Oils mean people are rushing to get them from the Hunts and it throws a monkey wrench into SCoB.
The Hunts should have been added in a way that made it easier to do but without tagging.
Those are what I understand the complaints in this thread.
Now months before, people have complained that the open world was dead (it wasn't really), there was little to no danger out off the beaten path, people wanting NMs out and about to hunt down and slaughter for glory and items, but without the messy tagging issue which left people burned at the thought of losing a mob they've waited hours on to be taken by a bot or some such.
What they got was
NMs and Elite NMs walking around the open world which in theory could ruin your day, but is tempered by the fact that they are dying in seconds. This means while the open world is now populated, it is no less safe because the dangerous baddies get slaughtered. There is no tagging, but because the fights are a zerg fest, people aren't getting the credit they deserve. And finally, the hunts grant seals and such that can be used to get items, but for these items to actually mean something, they ended up being top tier end game stuff (presumably to ensure that endgamers will actually do hunts).
So cluster(#*$ basically.

I completely understand the complaints, but people seemed to fail to realize that open-world content is just that, open-world (accessible to anyone and everyone). If something isn't instanced, it WILL be zerg rushed or camped. That's the nature of MMO playerbases and there's really nothing that can be done about it other than making it impossible for players to attack enemies they previously killed. Camping mobs and zerg rushing are just something people are gonna have to suck up and deal with if they want open-world NMs.
