That's not the issue, it's in, say Frontlines, and your alliance split apart to go around the map. You don't know who's actually with you, and suddenly, on your party/alliance list, a HP bar goes down sharply. Any healer's instinct is to select it, but if that person happens to be on the other side of the map, there's no notification of it, so you're furiously clicking/mashing the name but nothing's happening until you realise he's dead on the other side of the world.

And you can't medica II/medica alliance members unless they're in your party. And we know how effective Cure III is when you're spread out i.e. it's not. And if you're clumped together, you're just asking to get AoE-ed/Flared down.

If someone is far enough away, you can't even target them to check the range indicator on the actionbar to begin with.

They just need to add an option to fade out units in the party list/alliance list who are greater than 30 yalms away.

Doesn't work with macro icons. And half of the frustration is looking at 24 name plates and not knowing who is in range until you click on each individual one.

its easy. you hard target the far person then soft target nearest person.
have embrace/physick macro'd and while your healing one the fairy will fly off to heal the far away one.
its no different then playing SCH in Levi Ex

Initiate embrace on one target.

Switch targets and use the macro on the second.

Yes it does just use the /micon "name of skill" as the first line...
