Is there an OST that came with the collectors edition? I didn't think there was.
The only OSTs that I am aware of are Before Meteor and A Realm Reborn, both are only purchasable online through Square's (and a few other's) website.
The physical version got a mini-ost. The digital one does not.
The mini-OST that came with the physical collector's edition only had 6 songs on it. The main city-states tracks (daytime music only) and the areas outside them (The Black Shroud, Thanalan, La Noscea). If you upgrade from basic to collector's edition DIGITALLY, you DO NOT get the soundtrack at all, only the downloadable items/mount. If you want the music, you will have to order the OST by itself.
Be warned about buying the ARR soundtrack. When I got mine, I put in the Wind-Up Bahamut code and my code was already used. So I spent money on the soundtrack to also get the minion, yet I couldn't. This means I would have to fork over $56 dollars (that's with tax and shipping/handling) just to get the digital minion. Be careful when you order it, as I said. I bought it from the Square-Enix store, too.
Wierd! Did you contact them about it?Be warned about buying the ARR soundtrack. When I got mine, I put in the Wind-Up Bahamut code and my code was already used. I found my code in the sleeve of the CD-Case (very odd place).
I had two codes in mine, a code for something else, and a code specifically for the minion, (took me a while to find the minion code).
Probably best to call them about it and say what happened.
As for the minion, nice bonus but the OST in its original quality was the best part (makes me wonder why they dont use the PC quality version of the tracks for the PS4, dat' compressed audio is horrific at times)
I haven't had time to call them because I work 17 minutes from my house and all of my stuff is at my house rather than workWierd! Did you contact them about it?

It took 4 weeks of sending emails back and forth before and they ended it with me calling them, but I just have not had the time to do so.
I love how people equate the $56 as paying for the minion... other way around, people, you are paying for the 100+ songs on a bluray disk. The minion is a bonus.
Dammi wanted the OST
