I think that you're kind of missing the point. We're in a Lancer forum, so it isn't uncommon to have people talking about how they feel Lancer is the best. Either way, I can't see what it is like being r50 Lancer. I enjoy playing the other classes, but think that Lancer fits me the best. I always end up thinking about how the new ability "X" that I just got would be used when used with my Lancer. Can't really help it lol.
Dragoons had this issue in FFXI. No matter how much you talk up your job be realistic. I'm in the lancer forum and I'm loving getting my lancer to 50. But it's not the best and the other jobs are not "inferior" that's the point, don't kid yourself.
