Just covering the bases. Lancr is fine but it doesn't make the other jobs "inferior" nor will it outshine other jobs in their field.

Also Pugs deal great dmg and build huge TP but its here nor there.

I think that you're kind of missing the point. We're in a Lancer forum, so it isn't uncommon to have people talking about how they feel Lancer is the best. Just people having pride in their favorite job. Its just like when I say Kashuan is the best server. Just me showing love for the server that I hail from.

Either way, I can't see what it is like being r50 Lancer. I enjoy playing the other classes, but think that Lancer fits me the best. I always end up thinking about how the new ability "X" that I just got would be used when used with my Lancer. Can't really help it lol.

Dragoons had this issue in FFXI. No matter how much you talk up your job be realistic. I'm in the lancer forum and I'm loving getting my lancer to 50. But it's not the best and the other jobs are not "inferior" that's the point, don't kid yourself.

Wow, isn't this a touchy serious subject? I thought we were all just saying what job we think is the best. What we have said is totally biased and is a matter of preference. I didn't know that I had to put up a disclaimer saying that I know that Lancer isn't literally better than all the other jobs. I was just stating that I feel that Lancer is the best. It is the best job for me. I didn't say that it is the best for everyone else and that they just don't realize it yet. I have researched every job in this game and I appreciate how important they are. Just because I don't say that all the time, doesn't mean that I don't feel that way. Lancer is the best job for me. It is the most fun job.

Calm down and lighten up a bit. The whole forum could really use people not getting so worked up all the time.
