FPS drop to < 5 randomly & when teleporting often

Randomly when I'm walking around the world my FPS will drop abysmally low, to the point where I try to move my camera and it takes 20 seconds to catch up. Once it does catch up, however, it's usually fine. But it's been happening on and off since 2.3 quite often.

Most noticeable, however, is when I hit teleport to a different map and it drops my FPS during the cast time. Because then I get an error message:

FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn
An unexpected error has occured. Exiting FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn.(1)

I'm going to uninstall and reinstall, I guess? I don't think it's a driver thing since no other games are effected. My GPU temp seems normal. (albeit slightly higher than usual due to a heat wave, but still a good 15C below the max end of average)

I have this same issue. Started out happening last night in Mor dhona, now it happens in Limsa and various other places. CT as well, most of the last bosses were invisible with their weapon showing. Ran fine in dungeons besides that. Just crashed from the framerate drop earlier today for the first time, usually it just picked back up. This has never happened before 2.3 so, no clue. Any help would be nice.
