How's Tonberry life?

Recently came back to the game contemplating on server transferring to Tonberry since I live in Australia. I understand Tonberry is pretty much the hub for oceanic English speakers but I have a few questions.
How's the server in terms of overall attitude?
Since the Duty Finder is mixed with the Japanese are they still targeting non jp in a negative fashion by kicking them without warrant or care?
Also to those who have xfered from NA to JP servers and do live in the oceanic area had it been a good experience?

Life is good. I transfered from Masamune and I've found that Tonberry is much better for English speakers. Party Finder is often almost half-full of english-speaking groups, although you'll still see some "jp only". And it's quite common to see /shouts in English. Not sure about getting kicked from a group for not speaking Japanese as I only have English selected in the Duty Finder - I still manage to get into groups though, despite being a DPS.
I've also tried playing on a US server - not only did the latency make dodging nearly impossible, but I couldn't get through a play session without having to blacklist 2 or 3 goldseller spammers. So far on Tonberry I haven't had a single /tell from a goldseller (hopefully those aren't famous last words).

I am also an Aussie that transferred to tonberry from a NA server (forget which one) in about december last year, and the community has been great, plenty of English speakers around. A large majority of my FC is also Aussie as well, and never have any problems finding english groups.

I recently transferred to Tonberry but from Tiamat(JP) as the eng community there was getting smaller & smaller by the day. Good experience here so far ^^ still looking for a FC & LC's to join though~ :)

It's only been a month or so since I transferred to Tonberry (originally from Masamune) due to similar reasons of dwindling population of the English community.

It's been great so far. No regrets.

As for duty finder, I've never experienced getting kicked or vote dismissed.. (don't want to jinx that but.. yea..). So no, I don't think they kick people out just because your client is E.

Just steer clear of the few JP only on PF (unless you can speak then you can approach the leader and ask before joining). There's a number of English PFs on most days anyway.
