Yes please. At least tone it down. I've run the new dungeons 6 times and have only seen like 3 pieces of gear drop in total.

but crafting mats and gil are worthless in this game. neither of those can get you within 10 iLvs of max which in that case makes vanity > practicality.

I think I have 5 or 6 pieces of gear from the new dungeons so far. And that's from 1x Hullbreaker Isle, 2x Stone Vigil Hard, 5x Tam-tara Deepcroft Hard... And that's not counting gear that others got.
Also got crafting mats. Which I do need and are quite happy about being able to get as drops. A coke may not appear to be much, but it costs 2500 GC seals, and would require you hand in 3 i70 gear pieces to get.
People that are still waiting for a certain drop from the 2.2 dungeons, are you aware that some pieces only drop in one or two of the dungeons?
I believe Libra Eorzea lists which chests from which dungeons can contain the gear you're looking for. If you're only running Brayflox, you're never going to see some of the gear pieces.

I agree enitrely. The first time I did hullbreaker with some friends, we got some awesome drops. When we ran it again, we only got crafting mats and we all agreed that if that had been our first experience with the dungeon, we wouldn't have wanted or bothered to run it again.

in 1 weeks time or so you'll be wishing they drop more crafting materials
Those people saying that you can gear up wth myth points anyways, that's really not the point.
The gear drops are wanted for new players, or players leveling a new class, that are trying to gear up on their new class and improve their performance while earning their myth points for the ilvl 90 gear.
That is of course if they aren't trying to save up their myth for their relic.
Also, about the side chests, in lower dungeons when a side chest can drop an accessory. can we PLEASE make it so that it drops ONLY the accessory, and not just a potion?
Running these dungeons with people you see a lot of them that hate seeing the mats drop, just because not everyone is posting about it, doesn't mean we aren't tired of seeing them.
Please fix this SE, and preferably don't wait for a major patch to do it!

Yes, please. I was unable to complete the pilgrim set and it looks like getting gear from these new dungeons will be a hell as well. Let's leave mats in the 2.2's dungeons! They are so cheap that is pointless even selling them on the market.
As much as I like getting crafting mats from dungeons (well, some of them) it is a bit silly. I've had a run that was hardened sap from every chest we opened. It would be better to move the crafting items to the otherwise useless potion/ ether/ elixer chests. I still haven't seen my fistfighter's gloves after capping soldiery nearly every week on expert dungeons through 2.2 and I only have the goggles because my retainer was kind enough to bring them to me.

Anyone notice if AK or WP drops have changed or did they stay the same? My WHM is currently gearing up and I was going to go the regular route of those two and CT to get to min ilvl to run the new ones, but it's kind of daunting to do so with all the crafting mat drops. I understand they are important, but they aren't even the good ones. Sherry and water should not be there. The cost on those is minimal.
It is a huge wall for new 50's to gear up with these type of drops.

I agree with this as well. One of my biggest aspirations for 2.3 was in hoping that the new dungeons wouldn't repeat the same mistakes as 2.2 dungeons did. Maybe a 40% chance on an extra chest with a crafting mat spawning in *addition* to the regular chests with loot, but having crafting materials in lieu of gear is fairly disheartening at this point. It feels like padding. I can't imagine how irritated I would have been back near 2.0's release running AK over and over for the Hoplite Circlet if I had to deal with crafting materials getting in the way of an already crowded loot table.
