    Crashes after the 2.3 Patch

    Good evening. I recently patched the game up to 2.3 and afterwards the game crashes. Right after logging and and clicking play in the client. Neither windows nor the game itself gives me an error. The game just crashes before getting to the start screen.

    Edit: Have also tried running as administrator.

    Well since I am still having the same issue, I am going to ahead and try reinstalling and patching. Will post results when finished.

    I've reinstalled everything but the situation remains. I finally found the problem is the multi-display(I use bootcamp with apple's thunderbolt display).
    Reset the config not working well. some times I can log in.

    For me overall I am having worse connectivity issues post 2.3 then before. The game elements would freeze but my character can still type and move, but i would temp loss server and by end of ST whole party was experiencing it. Then in normal world i would dc entirely. Then when i try to reconnect my strength would be labeled poor then get 90000 then it would say excellent but still 90000.

    Still having the issue. Not using a dual monitor setup so I don't have multiple displays. Hmmm.

    Same thing happening to me today, after the hotfix. No dual screen, just a Lenovo ideapad z500. I think i didnt even see the patch downloading.

    Hmm it got fixed after restarting pc.

    I'm on PS3 and I've been experiencing similar problems since the 2.3 update, as well. It usually occurs when I'm changing areas or opening menus, such as the Market board. The screen freezes and my PS3 locks up, forcing a hard reset (which, as we all know, can be risky). I'm hoping this doesn't brick my PS3 after having to do it four times since the 2.3 update.

    I also noticed a sharp increase in lag and a shortened draw distance for seeing NPCs/mobs.

    Hope whatever is causing this gets ironed out, and soon.
