It has been repeated again and again, purposely going in with lower ilv gear is artificial difficulty. It is extremely easy and even faster with ST to obtain ilv 100 gear, but devs keep dishing out fights that are tuned to be done with the best gear from when the game came out 11 months ago. These fights are fun, yes, they're very-well done, but why make ilv 100 gear increasingly easier to get if there is only one dungeon right now tuned for that gear?
The same can be said about the new dungeons. They're incredibly well-done (Tamtara's theme and story was by far the best I've seen in any MMO and I'm looking very much forward to redoing that place), but it does not even feel ilv 70 because these monsters feel more like beefy punching bags. You can ignore some mechanics and it gives players a lazy mindset. Even if they do not add more content tuned to ilv 100, the devs need to make not following mechanics more punishing, like Leviathan HM, for instance. Don't increase his HP, but make getting hit by dashes and such actually matter, so it's one less thing to learn before going into EX. The bosses in Pharos Sirius are a good example of this, and so is the Cyclops in AV because they punish you for ignoring mechanics. Even if something is tuned to lower ilv, putting more of an emphasis on mechanics will prevent fights from becoming facerolls.

There will always be an influx of new players as well as older player leveling alt jobs who will find these dungeons challenging until the manage to overgear it. Pharos was an excellent dungeon, that could even give i90 players pause but we all know how that turned out... My first ever time queuing for it (pre-nerf) the other three party members left instantly. Unfortunately the masses HAVE spoken, and they don't want that level of difficulty in their 4-man dungeons. It has been repeated again and again, purposely going in with lower ilv gear is artificial difficulty. I disagree. This will just make every fight into Titan Ex. Besides, even an overgeared party needs to handle mechanics somewhat appropriately in the new dungeons. Especially Tam-Tara. I'd love to see a group brute force every single boss in that fight. The same can be said about the new dungeons. Overgeared from running Coil 2, complain about difficulty. Make a fight like Titan Ex which leaves little room for error, complain about difficulty.
Can't wait for i105 ramuh ex farm party finders. *eyeroll*
It IS supposed to be easier with that gear, yes, but like I said in my previous post, even the highest non SCoB content requires an avg iLv that is lower than the best gear you could get when this game first came out nearly a year ago. SE keeps adding alternatives to get i100 gear but there is only
One content where this gear is used for. (Replying from my phone, sorry, don't know how to edit last post from that). Yes, there ARE people that are still stuck in Garuda EX, but that content is not going anywhere. Continuing to create content with lower ilv than the best gear you could have in 2.0 really makes you wonder why distribute ilv 100 gear so easily

Because dear sir, the purpose of the game is to make content as balanced as possible for EVERYONE. In no way is ramuh ext easier than garuda, and leviathan extreme isn't easier by standards than titan. The reason people find titan to be much harder is because of the margin for error, but honestly mechanic wise it's a repetitive and scripted fight, where as to leviathan has the randomness to it and is a HUGE dps check.
My point is that it's true, garuda isn't going anywhere, but because you specifically are geared enough and skilled enough to beat ramuh ext 24 hours after it's release doesn't make it an 'easy' fight or even easier than the others. It's a matter of personal perception. Complaining about it is utterly silly.
I mean, they already introduced Echo for Moogle Ex. Moogle Ex.

While I have beat Ramuh EX within 24hrs of the patch, I by no means consider it easier then levi EX. That fight is not easy to contain the damage being done all around especially during the add phase. It also hates melee to an extent.
